What Is Protected by Copyright

Original culinary content, including recipes, photographs, videos, and written instructions, may be protected by copyright law. Ideas, facts, and functional lists of ingredients are generally not copyrightable. However, the creative expression — narrative descriptions, stylistic presentation, original images, and video productions — is protected from the moment of creation.

How We Process Third-Party Content

LetBite uses artificial intelligence to transcribe and structure publicly available recipe content from platforms such as YouTube. We attribute source creators and provide links back to original content. When we receive a valid takedown notice, we promptly review and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.

Response Time

All copyright claims are reviewed within 48 business hours of receipt. You will receive an acknowledgment by email with your claim reference number. Complex cases may require additional investigation time.
