Hummus Base

- 600 gCooked chickpeas
- 100 gTahini (sesame paste)
- 1 clovePeeled garlic
- 1 unitTahiti lime juice

- 1 pinchSalt
- 1 half of the reserveCooking water

Drain the chickpea water, reserving some of the water and a few whole chickpeas for finishing.

In the processor, add the cooked chickpeas, tahini, garlic, lime juice, cumin, a pinch of salt, and half of the reserved water.

Turn on the processor and let it process for at least 6 minutes. If it is too thick, add more of the reserved water and, if necessary, more salt.

Transfer the hummus to a plate and spread it with the help of a spoon.
